President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon: “Tajik-Kyrgyz partnership will continue to develop on an ascending line for the benefit of our countries and the entire region”
DUSHANBE, 02.02.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. “Tajik-Kyrgyz partnership will continue to develop on an ascending line for the benefit of our countries and the entire region”, — said the President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon following talks with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov yesterday, February 2 in Dushanbe.
According to the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, today’s meetings, which took place within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic His Excellency Sooronbay Sharipovich Jeenbekov to the Republic of Tajikistan, were held in the spirit of constructiveness and mutual understanding.
“Based on the fundamental principles of good-neighborliness and common interests, we discussed a whole range of Tajik-Kyrgyz bilateral cooperation and prospects for its further development. It is noteworthy that the visit of His Excellency Sooronbay Sharipovich takes place in the year of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries”, — said the Head of State Emomali Rahmon.
President Emomali Rahmon stressed that for this period the Tajik-Kyrgyz relations acquired a positive development trend in all key areas of cooperation.
