Tajikistan, Turkmenistan mull strategic partnership development
DUSHANBE, 18.04.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On April 17, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov met with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.
A statement by the Tajik MFA Information Department indicated that the two sides discussed the current state and prospects in development of bilateral cooperation in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian sectors.
The sides also exchanged views on cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international and regional organisations.
The parties exchanged instruments of ratification regarding government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan on strategic partnership
