Dushanbe hosts meeting of CIS Tourism Council on August 10-11
DUSHANBE, 09.08.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. A meeting of the Tourism Council for Tourism of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be held in Dushanbe on August 10-11. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The meeting will be attended by heads and representatives of the tourism structures of the CIS member states.
It is expected that the participants will discuss the realization of the Action Plan for 2018-2020 on the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of Cooperation of the CIS Member States in the field of tourism for the period until 2020, the implementation of which contributes, in particular, to the growth of the number of tourists from the Commonwealth countries and the volume of exports of tourism services, increase the level of employment of the population due to the creation of new jobs in the sphere, as well as an increase in the number of hotels, other accommodation facilities and tourism entities.
