Prosecutor General of Tajikistan held a number of meetings in the United States and visited the Supreme Court
DUSHANBE, 10.11.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon on November 7 met with US Deputy Assistant Attorney General Bruce Swartz, the press center of the Prosecutor General of Tajikistan reports.
During the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation between the Prosecutor General’s Office of Tajikistan and the US Department of Justice and exchanged views on improving cooperation in the fields of criminal justice, combating terrorism and extremism, as well as, drug trafficking.
Bruce Swart expressed his appreciation to Tajikistan for close cooperation during the investigation of the terrorist act.
The parties expressed the need to improve the regulatory framework between these two departments.
On this day, within the framework of the World Bank Group’s event “Law, Justice and Development Week 2018”, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon visited the Supreme Court of the United States.
During this visit, participants were briefed on the history, actions and best practices of the United States judicial system, including judicial procedures, the implementation of legislation and the case study process.
We will recall that on November 6, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon met with the Director of Federal Bureau of Investigation Christopher Wray.
