First political consultations between Tajikistan and Italy were held in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 16.11.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. First political consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Italian Republic took place on November 15 in Dushanbe. The consultations were held under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italian Republic Manlio di Stefano.
According to the MFA Information Department of the country, during the consultations the issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including the development of economic, political and humanitarian ties, fight against security challenges and other issues of mutual interest.
The parties have noted the necessity to promote better involvement of female public servants engaged in local public administration in training courses on improvement of professional skills. Moreover, the parties have expressed their interest in introducing new methods of education, such as distant training and e-training, as well as in utilization of intellectual potential of the country for providing opportunity for public servants of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, engaged in border services, to participate in training courses on improvement of professional skills.
