Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali, Qatari Minister of Culture: “I am fascinated by the high professionalism of the Tajik art masters”
DUSHANBE, 26.11.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Culture Days of the Republic of Tajikistan in the State of Qatar began in Doha on November 24, Tojiddin Rizvon, NIAT “Khovar” correspondent informs from the State of Qatar.
According to him, the official opening ceremony of the Culture Days of the Republic of Tajikistan began with the organization of a concert program, an exhibition of paintings, photographs and folk crafts.
On November 24, the official opening ceremony of the Culture Days of the Republic of Tajikistan in the State of Qatar began in the Qatar Drama Theater of the State of Qatar with opening speeches of the Ministers of Culture of both countries — Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda and Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali.
The guests before the concert visited the exhibition of paintings and folk crafts, as well as other achievements of Tajikistan.
During the concert program, the attention of guests, who were the residents of Doha and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to the host country, was attracted by dances and songs of Tajik art masters.
Following the concert program, the Minister of Culture of the State of Qatar noted: “In truth, according to the plan, I had to leave the hall in the first part of the program, but the entertaining and rich program of the Tajik art masters restrained me. I am fascinated by the high professionalism of the Tajik art masters”.
On November 25, the Culture Days of the Republic of Tajikistan in the State of Qatar continued with familiarizing with the National Library of the host country. Here, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda presented to the head of the library the book of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon “Tajiks in the Mirror of History” (in Arabic) and the book by academician Bobojon Ghafurov — “Tajiks”.
According to the head of the library, along with the three million books stored in the library, students and local historians will get familiar with the history of culture and civilization of Tajiks.
