Foreign Ministries of Tajikistan and Romania Sign Action Plan on Cooperation for 2019-2020
DUSHANBE, 07.12.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On December 6, on the sidelines of the 25th OSCE Ministerial Council, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Mr. Danut Sebastian Neculaescu.
The parties exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, tourism and education and have agreed on the next round of bilateral political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
Additionally, both parties discussed the priorities of the forthcoming Romanian Chairmanship in the European Union in the first half of 2019 and the ways of enhancing cooperation within the new strategy of the European Union for the Central Asian countries.
The Action Plan on Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Romania for 2019-2020 was signed following the meeting.
