Tajikistan and the UAE Held Inter-Ministerial Political Consultations
DUSHANBE, 06.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates held political consultations yesterday in Abu Dhabi, reported the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The delegation of Tajikistan was led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nizomiddin Zohidi. The Emirati delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Khalifa Shohin al-Marar.
The parties discussed the development of relations between Tajikistan and the UAE in trade, investment, industry, agriculture, education, science, culture, economy, humanitarian cooperation, and politics. The consultations were also focused on strengthening cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations.
The parties stressed the important role of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation in the implementation of joint projects and reaffirmed their readiness to expand further cooperation in various fields.
