Prime Minister Rasulzoda and Special Envoy of Qatari Foreign Minister Discuss Cooperation and Terrorism
DUSHANBE, 18.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda met with the Special Envoy of the Qatar Foreign Minister for Counterterrorism and Mediation in conflicts resolution Mutlaq Bin Majid Al-Qahtanithe yesterday in Dushanbe.
The parties discussed the issues relating to the intergovernmental cooperation between Tajikistan and Qatar.
“Holding various regional and international events initiated by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, including the high-level conference International and Regional Cooperation in the Fight Against Terrorism and Its Financing Sources, Including Drug Trafficking and Organized Crime, once again proves that Tajikistan has an active role in the fight against terrorism, extremism and other negative phenomena of the century both in the region and at the international level,” emphasized Al-Qahtanithe.
The parties also exchanged views on the importance of development of multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Qatar.
