European Council President Donald Tusk to Visit Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 29.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The European Council President Donald Tusk to visit Tajikistan on May 29. The Tajik MFA Information Department said Wednesday it still expects a meeting between President Emomali Rahmon and President Donald Tusk.
This trip marks the EU’s commitment to strengthen partnerships with Tajikistan and the region as the EU is about to launch its new EU-Central Asia Strategy.
Regional and bilateral cooperation will top the agenda. Climate change, environmental protection, border management, and regional security will also feature high on the agenda.
