Tajikistan and US Discuss Security Challenges and Threats Facing Central Asia
DUSHANBE, 22.08.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the US Under Secretary for Political Affairs David Hale in the framework of the C5+1 High-Level Security Discussion (Central Asian countries and the USA) on security issues yesterday in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation and further development of mutually beneficial relations, including within the framework of international organizations, reported the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties also touched upon the issues of regional development and addressing security challenges and threats.
