Tajik Foreign Minister Meets With Director General of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
DUSHANBE, 28.08.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the Director General of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty Jamie Fly yesterday in Dushanbe.
The meeting focused on Radio Ozodi’s activities in Tajikistan.
The parties exchanged views on the role of media in society and measures taken in the country to create favorable conditions for the media.
While emphasizing the need to respect freedom of speech and the press, Muhriddin noted the responsibility of the media in maintaining peace and tranquility in society.
