Tajik Ambassador Hails Progress of Belarus-Tajikistan Joint Economic Projects
DUSHANBE, 11.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – “Tajikistan and Belarus have given greater focus to joint economic projects,” said Ambassador of Tajikistan to Belarus Mahmadsharif Hakdod at an event devoted to the Independence Day of Tajikistan in Minsk.
Hakdod pointed out that it is important to enhance bilateral cooperation in politics, economy, education, and culture, reported BelTA.
According to Hakdod , Belarus and Tajikistan have established effective cooperation and the relationship of trust between the leaders of the two countries is facilitating the development of cooperation in all areas.
Hakdod also stressed the importance of high-level agreements signed as a result of mutual visits. Belarus and Tajikistan have developed a solid legal framework that comprises over 100 documents, said Hakdod.
He also pointed out that the two countries have strengthened trade and economic ties and stepped up work of joint enterprises that assemble Belarusian vehicles.
Tajikistan and Belarus have also cultivated good relations in education, science and culture.
Speaking about Independence Day, Hakdod noted that in the past 28 years, Tajikistan has undertaken major reforms aimed at supporting stable political and economic development of society. In turn, the Belarussian Agriculture and Food Minister Anatoly Khotko noted that lately the dialogue between Belarus and Tajikistan has intensified. The counties have launched large economic projects, joint ventures, and exchanged visits.
