Tajikistan and Hungary Sign Two Intergovernmental Documents
DUSHANBE, 27.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Szijjarto on the sidelines of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The two officials discussed strengthening bilateral economic, trade, tourism and scientific ties and exchanged views on the issues of international and regional security.
Following the meeting, the parties signed an agreement between the governments of Tajikistan and Hungary on economic cooperation, as well as an Educational Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Human Capacities, and Innovation and Technology of Hungary for 2019-2020.
