Khovar’s Director Meets With Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 10.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Director of Khovar news agency Saidali Siddiq met with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Badi today in Dushanbe.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to enhancing cooperation in information exchange, covering important events and significant achievements in the state media of Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia.
The parties noted the importance of developing relations between the two countries in the economic, cultural and tourism spheres as well as stressed the importance of promoting tourist destinations, clear and healing waters, natural and historical nature of Tajikistan in Saudi media.
Siddiq noted that the cooperation between Khovar and Saudi Arabian state news agencies beneficial for both countries, and noted that the Tajik side has developed and submitted to Saudi Arabian side a draft agreement on cooperation.
The entry into force of this agreement will lay a solid foundation for highlighting important events in both countries and advancing their achievements.
Al-Badi stated that it will promote the establishment of information relations and media cooperation.
“There are a lot of unused potential in all areas and it is important to make every effort for their implementation,” noted Al-Badi.
The two parties noted the importance of friendly ties between the heads of two states in the development of bilateral relations.
