Tajikistan’s Ambassador Meets With the Chairman of National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan
DUSHANBE, 28.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan Ismatullo Nasredin met with the Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan Muhammad Afzal, reports the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Nasreddin expressed his thankfulness for the invitation of а group of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the government of Tajikistan to Pakistan for training courses. He also noted the necessity of widening cooperation between the two countries on the prevention and elimination of natural disasters’ consequences.
Afzal proposed to establish regional cooperation for addressing effects of natural disasters and providing joint assistance.
