DUSHANBE, 14.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On February 14, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 9.6956 TJS,

1 Euro – 10.5372 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1518 TJS.

Also on February 14, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6956 to 9.7000 TJS

1 Euro – from 10.5372 to 10.7500 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1518 to 0.1560 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
