DUSHANBE, 20.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On March 20, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 9.7486 TJS,

1 Euro – 10.6162 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1223 TJS.

Also on March 20, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.7486 to 9.7500 TJS

1 Euro – from 10.6162 to 10.7000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1223 to 0.1250 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
