President Emomali Rahmon Makes New Appointments
DUSHANBE, 10.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with the newly appointed officials of the State Committee for National Security’s Border Troops, the Presidential Executive Office and other government agencies.
The meeting agenda focused on the prevention of border violations, control and prevention of illicit drug and weapons trafficking, and substandard goods and products.
He also spoke of the difficult political, economic and social situation in the region and the world, calling on the newly appointed officials to serve with a strong sense of nationalism, patriotism and loyalty.
President Rahmon emphased that only the responsibility and vigilance of each officer can protect our country from the dangers of today’s world, including terrorism, extremism and transnational organized crime.
By presidential executive orders Pirakzoda Hikmatullo has been released of his positions as First Deputy Commander of the Border Troops — Chief of Main Staff of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan. Rajabzoda Nasimjon will now serve in his stead.
By governmental decrees, Pirakzoda Hikmatullo has been appointed as head of the Higher Border Institute of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mirzozoda Badriddin has been relieved of this post due to his transfer to another position.
Nuralizoda Nuriddin has been appointed Director of the State Institution of Inskandarkul Recreation Area.
Zainudin Avazkhon will now serve as the head of the Center of Information-Communication Technologies of the Presidential Executive Office, and Mirzoyon Nodir will serve as Deputy Director of the Statistical Agency under President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
