Jabbor Rasulov District Preparing for the Presidential Election

DUSHANBE, 05.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Presidential election in Tajikistan will take place on October 11.
Today, cities and districts are busy preparing for the big political event. In particular, to date, Jabbor Rasulov district has established constituency No. 42 per Central Commission for Elections and Referenda’s decree. According to statistical data, there are 81,397 voters in this district.
“Representatives of the Supreme Court, the CCER and Jabbor Rasulov’s constituency No. 42 held a number of training seminars with potential members of precinct commissions. The necessary materials provided by the CCER were distributed in all polling stations,” reported the district’s media relations representative Aziz Nabiev.
To date, the district has 43 polling stations. Of the 373 members of precinct commissions, 25.7% are under the age of 35, 57.6% are women.
