Tajik FM and Korean PM Discuss Cooperation Issues

DUSHANBE, 27.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirodjidin Muhriddin met with the Korean Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun.
Muhriddin stressed that cooperation with Korea, including within Central Asia- Korea Cooperation Forum and other regional cooperation tools is of particular importance for Tajikistan.
He noted that Tajikistan considers the forum an important tool for development and strengthening of partnership between its member states.
The officials discussed the implementation of agreements reached during high-level visits, the organization of joint events in various formats, the signing of new bilateral documents, the expansion of trade, economic, investment and scientific-technical ties, expansion of inter-parliamentary relations, cooperation in industry, energy, culture, tourism and labor migration.
They also touched upon other issues relating to the expansion of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Korea within the framework of international and regional organizations and cooperation in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
