Heads of Legal Services of the CIS Foreign Ministries Held Advisory Committee Meeting

DUSHANBE, 23.12.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Tajikistan’s delegation participated the 29th meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Heads of Legal Services of the CIS Ministries of Foreign Affairs via videoconference.
The meeting focused on legal cooperation in the CIS space. An exchange of views took place on the format of signing international documents at meetings of the CIS supreme bodies held in an online format.
The Advisory Committee decided to intensify work on the draft of a new edition of the Methodological Recommendations for the development of draft international treaties concluded within the CIS. The parties formed a working group of experts for the operational preparation of the draft document. Information was also heard on the progress of the development of the draft Convention on the Legal Status of Delegations Sent to the CIS members.
Their next meeting will take place in Minsk in March 2021.
