Heads of SCO Competent Bodies Discuss Issues of Establishing an Anti-Drug Center in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 20.03.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, a working group of experts on improving the legal framework for cooperation of the meeting of the heads of the SCO competent bodies empowered to combat drug trafficking held an online meeting.
Tajikistan was represented by an employee of the Drug Control Agency.
The attendants exchanged information on law enforcement practices in the field of drug control in the SCO member states.
They also discussed the draft Work Plan 2021-2023 for the implementation of the Action Program for the implementation of the SCO Anti-Drug Strategy for 2018 -2023.
The expert reviewed the proposal of the Tajik side to establish the SCO Anti-Drug Center in Dushanbe.
