DUSHANBE, 01.06.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomai Rahmon held a meeting of the government today.
The meeting’s agenda included the process of implementation of the governmental decree on the comprehensive program for the development of physical culture and sports for 2017-2021. Chairman of the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports Abdullo Rahmonzoda delivered reports on this matter.
The meeting participants also discussed a number of current issues, including the draft laws on bodies of public amateur performance, on making amendments to the land code, on the seismic safety, as well as on transport safety.
Other issues discussed included the National Development Strategy until 2030, Police Reform Program 2021-2025, Fire Prevention Programs for 2021-2025, implementation of concept of involvement of foreign compatriots as partners of the development of the fatherland for 2021-2025.
At the end of the meeting, President Rahmon called for the timely fulfillment of the set tasks and instructed government members to eliminate shortcomings.
