DUSHANBE, 19.07.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a working consultation with government members.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda and his deputies, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, Chairman of Dushanbe, presidential aides, and heads of relevant ministries and government agencies.

The issues pertaining to preparations for an important historical date — the 30th anniversary of state independence of Tajikistan and a jubilee meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of the organization, were the main item on the meeting’s agenda. Reports on this issue were delivered by Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda.

The government has been tasked with the implementation of creative plans for a dignified celebration of the national holiday, as well as the holding of the 20th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

In addition, the executive bodies of state authorities of provinces, cities and districts were instructed to prepare for the heating season and sufficient stocks of food and fuel.

The Ministry of Education and Science together with the executive bodies of state authorities of provinces, cities and districts have been instructed to take urgent measures to complete the repairing and reconstruction of educational institutions, and prepare for the upcoming academic year.

Also, an instruction has been given to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to ensure mass vaccination for the entire population and strengthen explanatory work to ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations.

The instructions for the relevant government agencies also include providing material assistance to victims of natural disasters, and those who have suffered a loss of harvest.
