Tajikistan and China Agree to Conduct Joint Tactical Exercises of Special Structures to Combat Terrorism

DUSHANBE, 17.08.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The issues of conducting joint tactical exercises of special structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan with the Chinese Ministry of Public Security on combating terrorism in mountainous areas, which will be held from August 17 through 20 August 2021, were discussed yesterday at the meeting between the Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda and representatives of the Chinese Ministry of Public Security headed by Liu Yongfen.
The parties also discussed issues of combating other types of organized crime, exchange of experience and information, and training of highly qualified personnel.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
