Tajikistan Allowed the Landing of an Afghan Plane With Military Personnel on Board

DUSHANBE, 17.08.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan allowed a plane from Afghanistan to land on its territory after receiving an SOS signal reports the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
More than 100 Afghan servicemen were on board the aircraft.
“Tajikistan received an SOS signal, after which, in accordance with international obligations, it was decided to allow the landing of an aircraft that took off from Afghanistan at the Bokhtar airport. More than 100 Afghan servicemen have landed,” the department said.
The information previously published in the media about 18 planes from Afghanistan that landed in Tajikistan does not correspond to reality.
