Deputy FM Attends High-level Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade

DUSHANBE, 14.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseinzoda attended the High-Level Conference dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which was held from October 11 through October 12 in Serbia’s Belgrade.
The conference focused on countering contemporary threats and challenges, necessity of cooperation in promoting the international agenda, as well as ensuring and protecting the principles of NAM, including sovereignty, unity, and inviolability of borders, political independence, peaceful coexistence, and also respect for international law.
The participants also paid attention to the topics related to ensuring sustainable development, mitigation of the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, and equal access to vaccines, as well as environmental issues.
