DUSHANBE, 17.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN Jonibek Hikmat met with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Liu Zhenmin.

The parties discussed the current issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN DESA, as well as water and climate change issues, preparations for the Second International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development,” and the implementation of the resolution entitled the UN 2023 Water Conference on the Midterm Comprehensive Review of the Implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028.”
