PM Rasulzoda Attends SCO Council of Heads of Government Meeting

DUSHANBE, 26.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda attended the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the member states and observers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) via videoconference.
The meeting focused on the state of cooperation in the field of roads and transport, energy, health care, education, science, economy, investments, customs, agriculture, climate change, security, as well as useful considerations for the development of integration of SCO member states and observers.
Rasulzoda stressed that it is necessary to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the SCO Development Strategy for the period up to 2025 and the program of multilateral trade and economic cooperation.
He also noted that the government of Tajikistan is interested in bringing cooperation with the member states and observers to a qualitatively new level.
“The implementation of the proposal of President Emomali Rahmon on the development and adoption of the Economic Development Strategy for SCO region until 2030 is timely,” he added.
