Tajik and Pakistani Foreign Minister Hold Phone Talk

DUSHANBE, 02.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On January 31, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin held a phone talk with his Pakistani counterpart Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
The talk focused on the current state and prospects of relations between the two countries, as well as important regional and international issues.
The counterparts stressed the importance of expanding trade, economy, investment projects, as well as scientific and technical ties between the two countries, including strengthening inter-parliamentary ties, revitalization of culture and tourism spheres.
The parties exchanged views on the 48-th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to be held on March 22-23 this year in Islamabad.
Also, officials noted the plans and events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which will be celebrated on June 6, 2022.
