Afghan Refugees Involved in Training of Professions in Primary Vocational Education Institutions of Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 02.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Afghan refugees are involved in training for professions in primary vocational education institutions and in the Adult Education Center. This was noted yesterday by the Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population of Tajikistan Shirin Amonzoda at a meeting with UNESCO Representative for Migration, Displacement, Emergencies and Education Hoda Jaberli and Representative of the UNESCO Regional Bureau in Almaty Mergul Alpisbayeva.
Amonzoda expressed gratitude to UNESCO for cooperation in the field of primary vocational education and adult education.
The meeting focused on issues of training Afghan refugees and UNESCO’s contribution in this direction.
The parties also touched upon the issues regarding further cooperation in the field of vocational education and training of personnel, aimed at the implementation of state programs, strategies and concepts of the country, which are aimed at developing quality education.
