Representatives of CIS Discuss Cooperation in Ensuring International Information Security

DUSHANBE, 24.06.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the head of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Shohin Samadi attended the inter-ministerial consultations on the interaction of CIS members in the field of ensuring international information security at the CIS headquarters in Minsk.
The event was also attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the CIS Executive Committee.
The consultations agenda included the whole range of issues of cooperation between CIS members in the field of ensuring international information security.
Participants noted the importance of coordinating approaches of countries at specialized global and regional platforms.
Representatives of CIS members agreed to continue the useful practice of holding inter- inter-ministerial consultations on this topic.
