DUSHANBE, 20.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan expressed its gratitude to the UN and its agencies for their readiness to provide assistance to the country, as well as relatives and friends of the dead and injured. This was stated yesterday by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sodik Imomi at a briefing in Dushanbe.
The briefing was organized for diplomatic corps and media representatives regarding the tragic events that took place between September 14 through September 18 this year on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border.
Imomi provided the briefing participants with detailed information on the chronology of recent events and the measures taken by Tajikistan to stabilize the situation in the border zone.
