President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon Meets with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov
DUSHANBE, 14.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 14, in the city residence of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon met with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honorable Sadyr Japarov, who visited Tajikistan to participate in the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.
Honorable President of the country Emomali Rahmon expressed confidence that the results of the summit of the Heads of the Central Asian States will effectively contribute to the development of positive processes in our region.
During the meeting, the parties paid attention to the issue of development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, which are linked by centuries-old bonds of friendship and good neighborliness, and supported the continuation of regular political dialogue, especially at the highest level.
The parties also discussed specific regional and international topics of interest.
