Participants of the Meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government Adopt 20 Documents

DUSHANBE, 27.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Participants of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States, in which the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda took part, adopted 20 documents on October 26 in Bishkek.
The meeting focused on the agenda issues. In particular, prime ministers approved the CIS Interstate Program of Cooperation in the field of geodesy, cartography, spatial data, geographic information technologies, remote sensing of the Earth, cadastral registration and registration of rights to real estate for the period until 2026.
It was also approved the Concept of digital transformation of industries of the fuel and energy complex of the CIS member states and the corresponding Action Plan for its implementation, the Interstate Target Program “Reclamation of the territories of states exposed to the impact of uranium production”, a Set of measures for the implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation in the mining and metallurgical industry, Regulations on technological platforms within the framework of the Interstate Program of Innovative Cooperation for the period until 2030.
They also signed an Action Plan for the preparation and celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory Day in 2025 in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
A plan has been approved to hold the Year of Volunteerism in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2024. The document consists of nine sections and includes more than a hundred international events.
It was also adopted the Regulations on the CIS Championship (Championship, Cup). Holding such competitions will expand the capabilities of the Commonwealth member states to train sports reserves and high-class athletes.
In addition, the meeting focused on a large block of financial issues. They relate to the financing of the further development of the unified air defense system of the Commonwealth states, the execution of the unified budget of the CIS bodies, and the financing next year of activities to implement the Interstate Program for Improving the Quality of Life of War Veterans — Participants in Local Conflicts.
The next meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government was decided to be held in May 2024 in Ashgabat.
