DUSHANBE, 13.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – As of January 1, 224 travel agencies operate in Tajikistan. Of these, 106 travel agencies operate in Dushanbe, 15 in cities and districts of republican subordination, 45 in the Sughd region, 17 in the Khatlon region and 41 in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region. It was stated during a press conference of the Committee for Tourism Development on February 12.

It was also reported that there are currently 306 tourism service providers in Tajikistan, including 190 hotels, 34 hostels and motels, 52 boarding houses, 5 children’s camps and health resorts, 8 treatment centers and health clinics, 10 holiday homes, 3 campsites, 4 tourism and recreation centers.

Dushanbe’s 36 hotels, 9 hostels, motels and other types of hotels with a capacity of 1925 rooms and 3720 beds serve domestic and foreign guests.
