Minister Muhriddin Attends the Second Ministerial Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue in the Format Central Asia and GCC

DUSHANBE, 15.04.2024 /NIAT «Khovar»/. On April 15, 2024, in Tashkent, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, took part and delivered a speech at the Second Ministerial Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue between Central Asian states and Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
At the meeting, the ministers exchanged views on the state and prospects of cooperation development, with a focus on the implementation of the results of the first meeting of the Heads of Central Asian states and GCC countries, which was held on July 19, 2023, in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During his speech, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin noted that, in the context of rapid changes in global politics and economy, the sincere and reliable dialogue between the Central Asian states and GCC countries is of particular importance.
The meeting resulted in the adoption of the Joint Declaration of the Second Meeting of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian states and GCC countries.
