Tajikistan and Thailand Discuss Bilateral Relations Agenda

DUSHANBE, 05.08.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 31, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Thailand Ardasher Qodiri met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul.
The meeting focused on issues of mutual interest.
The parties had an exchange of views on security, combating drug trafficking, emergency management, environmental protection and other areas of cooperation.
On July 31, Qodiri also met with the Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Kingdom of Thailand Phonpoom Vipattipumiprates.
The meeting addressed the current status of cooperation in the field of tourism between Tajikistan and Thailand.
The parties agreed to explore opportunities for cooperation, including the mutual promotion of each country’s cultural heritage, the exchange of official visits, the organization of events and forums in both online and offline formats, as well as the development of advanced training courses in the field of tourism.
