DUSHANBE, 20.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 20, 2024, political consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan were held in the city of Dushanbe under the leadership of Deputy Foreign Ministers Sodiq Imomi and Ahmed Gurbanov.
During the consultations, the sides exchanged views on the state and prospects of expanding bilateral relations in political, trade, economic and cultural spheres.
The sides discussed cooperation between Dushanbe and Ashgabat in international and regional organisations, including within the framework of the mechanism of Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Central Asia.
The interest of the two countries in further expansion of multifaceted relations was emphasised.
