DUSHANBE, 10.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda met with Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Gordan Grlic Radman.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations, mutually beneficial cooperation and the desire to make more efforts to further develop multilateral cooperation in priority areas.
It was noted that Tajikistan has ample opportunities for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with European countries in the fields of hydropower, light industry, especially mining, transport and communications, production of building materials, as well as in the fields of development of science and technology, education, healthcare, culture and tourism.
With an interest in the speedy implementation of the Millennium Development Goals, it was emphasized that Tajikistan and Croatia have a single or close position on most of the most important global issues.
Political exchanges within the European Union and the United Nations were also recognized as important areas of relations between the two countries.
It was emphasized that Croatia will participate at a worthy level in the International Conference dedicated to the announcement of the Year of Glacier Preservation, which will be held in Dushanbe in May 2025.
