Ambassador of Tajikistan Meets Director General of Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism

DUSHANBE, 17.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On 16 June 2025, Ashrafjon Gulov, Ambassador of Tajikistan to the United Arab Emirates, met with Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi.
The parties discussed avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector, emphasizing the importance of enhanced collaboration between relevant government institutions and private sector stakeholders of both countries, within the framework of existing cooperation agreements.
The interlocutors also underlined the significance of organizing consultative meetings between tourism authorities, travel agencies, and airline companies, as well as holding briefings and promotional events to showcase Tajikistan’s tourism potential to the Emirati public.
These initiatives are expected to contribute to increasing mutual tourist flows and deepening people-to-people exchanges between Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates.
