DUSHANBE, 26.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 26, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the building of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, which was built with a modern design, in the center of Roshtqal’a district.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the Infectious Diseases Hospital building has 20 beds and provides ample conditions and opportunities for diagnosis and treatment, as well as improving the level and quality of medical services to the population.

This facility was built by the State Institution “Directorate for the Construction of Government Facilities” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for a cost of more than 30 million somoni and is equipped with modern medical equipment.

The building of the Infectious Diseases Hospital in the district consists of 3 floors and a basement, and modern conditions have been created for timely treatment of patients suffering from various infectious diseases.

The medical institution has 42 working rooms, including a reception department, functional rooms, an intensive care unit, a diagnostic and surgical department.

The total area of the infectious diseases hospital is 1,300 square meters, and the main building is built on an area of 480 square meters.

Construction work on the hospital began in 2022 with the involvement of local specialists and was completed with a high level of quality, in accordance with modern architectural requirements.
