DUSHANBE, 11.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 11, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a slate workshop of the Limited Liability Company Salmon-Binokor in the village of Sujin, Panjakent city, and got acquainted with its activities.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the facility was built to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the state’s independence by a domestic entrepreneur, Bahodur Nasriddinzoda, and 30 local residents have permanent jobs in it.

The slate produced by the Salmon-Binokor enterprise is of high quality, resistant to heat and cold, and is guaranteed to last for many years.

Here, the process of receiving and mixing raw materials is carried out using special equipment, after which molding and preparation of finished products are carried out on another technological line.

Thus, workers and specialists have the opportunity to produce from 4,000 to 4,500 slates per day using modern technologies and offer them to customers.

Using the provided privileges and incentives, the domestic entrepreneur has simultaneously built a new sand and gravel production workshop next to this facility, which, after being put into operation, will provide jobs for more than 20 residents of the village of Sujin.

Currently, equipment installation work is underway in this section, and in the near future the workshop will begin operations with a capacity of 120 tons of finished products per hour.

The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, also opened the sand and gravel processing and concrete products production workshop of the Chinor-Soy Limited Liability Company, the lime production workshop of the Zarafshan Joint Venture Limited Liability Company, a shoe factory, a 48-meter-long overpass in the village of Kumak, the water supply system of the city of Panjakent, the drinking water network of the Sarazm village, and the water supply line in the village of Loiq Sherali.

The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, also opened another industrial enterprise located in the Chinor village of the city of Panjakent.

At the same time, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, also visited an exhibition of products of industrial enterprises of the city of Panjakent.

The exhibition presented the list of products of the Zarafshan joint venture, such as gold, silver, copper powder, cathode copper, construction products, food, school uniforms, as well as dairy products and thirst-quenching drinks.

Currently, industrial enterprises in Panjakent produce 43 types of products, which, in addition to meeting the needs of the domestic market, are also exported.

It was reported that in the first 5 months of 2025, industrial enterprises produced products worth nearly 3 billion somoni, which is by 518 million somoni more than in the same period last year. This figure also includes paid services.

In January-July 2025, in order to develop the sector, ensure product competitiveness, and provide employment to residents, 13 new industrial plants and enterprises were built and put into operation in the center and villages of Panjakent, and another 7 new industrial enterprises will be built by the end of this year.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, praised the initiative of entrepreneurs and development partners in building modern factories and enterprises and contributing to the implementation of one of the strategic goals — the rapid industrialization of the country — as an example, and gave instructions and recommendations to those responsible for advancing the sector and ensuring the competitiveness of products.
