Tajikistan, U.S. begin drafting agreement on air communications

Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of Tajikistan Habibullo Nazarzoda and Assistant Director for Negotiations, Office of International Aviation, U.S. Department of Transportation Kristen Gatlin held a meeting in Washington, D.C. this week, Khovar, reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation, including the development of an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the United States of America “On air transport” and the establishment of direct flights between Tajikistan and the U.S.
The sides went on to exchange views on their readiness to enhance the legal and technical framework for expanding bilateral ties in civil aviation.
