Tajikistan, Iran reaffirm commitment to strengthen bilateral friendly relations

On November 24, 2025, the next round of political consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran was held in Dushanbe at the level of the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, the delegations were headed by the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan, Farrukh Sharifzoda, and Iran, Majid Takht-Ravanchi.
During the consultations, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, the implementation of previously reached high-level agreements, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The talks were held in a constructive atmosphere and in the spirit of mutual understanding. The parties reaffirmed their readiness to further strengthen the friendly relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
