Center for Strategic Studies of Tajikistan Expands International Cooperation Network

DUSHANBE, 09.02.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – The Center for Strategic Studies under the president of Tajikistan cooperates with 44 foreign analytical and research institutions, its director said on Monday.
Speaking at a press conference in Dushanbe, Center Director Khayriddin Usmonzoda said the cooperation allows the institution to present the analytical work of its experts internationally and supports the development of its research capacity.
He said the Center works with research institutions in Russia, Kazakhstan, China, India, Iran, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and South Korea, among others.
Usmonzoda said the Center is a member of several regional and international platforms, including the CSTO Analytical Center, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum, the Forum of Central Asian Strategic Centers, the U.N. Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia in Ashgabat, as well as forums linking Central Asian strategic centers with China and South Korea.
He added that in 2025 the Center joined new cooperation platforms involving Central Asian strategic centers and partners from the European Union, the Gulf states and the United States.
Usmonzoda said the Center also maintains regular working consultations with government ministries and agencies, local authorities, research institutes and higher education institutions in Tajikistan.
