Tajikistan, Germany Discuss Expanding Cooperation in Innovation and Digital Technologies

Khurshed Mirzo, director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the president of Tajikistan, met in Dushanbe with Jörg Schugraf, Germany’s ambassador to Tajikistan.
The sides discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in innovation and digital technology development, as well as expanding the use of modern technologies in the economy and public administration.
It was noted that Tajikistan places special emphasis on expanding international cooperation with developed countries, including Germany, in areas such as technology transfer, attracting investment and implementing best practices.
Both parties expressed readiness to deepen cooperation in digital technology development, human resource capacity building and joint initiatives.
Following the meeting, the ambassador visited the Public Services Center, where he reviewed the provision of electronic public services, the level of digitalization and the center’s technical capabilities.
