The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to the United Arab Emirates, Ashrafjon Gulov, met on May 5 in Abu Dhabi with United Nations Resident Coordinator in the UAE Beranger Böll.
According to the Tajik Embassy in the UAE, the sides discussed multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Nations, with a focus on Tajikistan’s global initiatives in water and climate.
They also agreed to hold a press conference in Abu Dhabi in the near future on preparations for the Fourth High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028,” to be held in Dushanbe on May 25-28, 2026, with participation of diplomats, international organizations, media and experts.
