On June 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Honoured Masoud Pezeshkiyan, which read:

With all due respect, I sincerely congratulate you and the noble people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the occasion of reaching a peace agreement with the United States of America.

We know that reaching this important agreement was not easy for the Iranian nation and is the result of its great efforts and strong will. I believe that the agreements reached in this regard are of key importance for ensuring a stable and comprehensive peace in the Middle East, strengthening the international security system, and creating favorable conditions for sustainable economic and social development.

The Republic of Tajikistan, as a peace-loving country and a supporter of resolving all differences and conflicts through negotiations and diplomatic dialogue, welcomes this important event.

With the hope of further developing beneficial cooperation and strengthening friendly relations between our countries, I wish you good health and new achievements, and to the friendly and brotherly people of Iran lasting peace, security, and greater progress and prosperity than ever before.»
